Pattern, pattern, pattern! It’s all around us, organic and man-made, and lately I’ve been obsessed with it (which means I’ll be sharing more pics as the weeks go on). When I was on my trip to New England I spent a lot of time researching pattern in the historical locations we visited. Good and timeless design for interior spaces fascinate me and I love to see how certain motifs or shapes have been used and re-invented for centuries. Above are just a few examples. The loom woven designs at the top right are majestic. I am humbled at the thought hand weaving.
