New England Inspiration

I just got home from a fantastic trip to the New England area touring colleges for my oldest son. I am absolutely FULL of inspiration to share with you, but for now I’m all about laundry. The above images are a sampling from our day of play in the gorgeous North Eastern coastal town of Mystic, Connecticut.  All the boats, beautiful homes, small downtown charm and shopping, and the amazing restaurants (Mystic Pizza, S&P Oyster, and the Drawbridge Ice Cream Parlor, to name a few), really made for a terrific way to kick off our trip. We also got incredibly lucky with the weather everywhere we went. I loved the sporadic thunderstorms and cloud bursts followed by sun and heat … it made me realize how much I enjoy and miss rain. 

I’ll share more later … for now I need to get back to work and back to my mountain of laundry.
