It’s always a good day when I freshen up my garden after a long winter’s neglect. This year my husband and I pulled up a section of grass lawn that was high maintenance and refusing to grow in our shady spot, and replaced it with paving stones and fast growing Irish Moss. I can’t wait for the moss to fill in, but I can see how it’s going to look and I know we will love it. After weeks of working through the physical labor part of the project we finally got to my favorite part – Planting Day! The trip to the garden nursery was wonderful and I think if I weren’t more interested in drawing and painting flowers, I’d chose to make a career working there. Here are some pics I wanted to share with you. As always, I can’t help but marvel at God’s handywork and artistry!
