2012 Blu Penny Ornament Exchange!

Last Saturday I mailed my little Nutcracker Sweet Dancer ornaments to my three new friends, Michele, Jana, and Kijsa.  I want to send out a BIG thank you to Cindy Ann Ganadan for organizing another wonderful ornament exchange!  What a treat it is to participate in such a fun Holiday activity and meet new friends all at the same time! That’s the best gift I can recieve.  Here’s a peak at what my exchange group will be receiving from me. I’m already looking forward to next year!  xo

BTW, check out my exchange buddy Michele’s post on the ornament she made that I will soon be receiving in the mail!  So cute!  I can’t wait for it to arrive!

    • You made my day! Thank you so much for your nice comment. It’s funny you say that about reminding you of ornaments from when you were a kid. That is what inspired these little ladies for me. I had a small porcelain doll (about 2″ tall) with wired arms and legs that was given to me by a very special older woman (a family friend I called my California Grandma). It was very old, like from the early 1800’s, and I imagined some little girl playing with her. :0)

Thank you so much again for taking the time to comment. I hope you have a wonderful Holiday! xoxo

    • Hi Melissa! Thanks so much for that nice comment! Your art and Michele’s are absolutely inspiring to me! I’m so happy I know about you and your work! I just peeked at your Etsy shop and your cards are adorable! I really LOVE your pop-ups. I’ve been working on a line of pop-up cards but haven’t fine tuned it to the degree you have! Well done! Thanks for dropping me a note! I hope you have a fabulous Holiday & New Year! xoxo
